Model Portfolios

The Model Portfolios are managed by Industry Fund Services. The models provide access to a range of notional investment portfolios containing a single- or multi-asset class mix, each carefully managed to its risk profile and performance benchmark. These models invest predominantly in Managed Funds.

Blended asset classes
IFS Cautious Aims to reduce volatility and minimise capital losses by investing primarily in defensive assets such as cash and fixed interest with a minor exposure to growth assets such as shares and property
IFS Moderate Invests mainly in defensive assets with some exposure to growth assets
IFS Assertive Invests in a balanced allocation to growth (i.e. shares and property) and defensive assets (i.e. cash and fixed interest)
IFS Aggressive Invests primarily in growth assets such as shares and property with some exposure to defensive assets
IFS Highly Aggressive Predominantly invests in growth assets such as shares and property
Single asset class
IFS Cash Invests in short term cash investments with minimal risk of capital loss
IFS Fixed Interest Invests in a range of domestic and international government and corporate bonds
IFS Property Invests in listed property
IFS Australian Shares Invests in Australian shares
IFS International Shares Invests in international shares with a majority currency hedging exposure
Legacy Models
